From 3 September 2025, ArkaZien will invite visitors into an enchanted world of adventure.

Beiersdorf/Grimma. The wait is over! Ziegler Spielplätze von A-Z invites young and old alike to the opening of its first amusement park, ArkaZien, east of Leipzig.

Company owner Günther Ziegler and his creative team have created a unique world of adventure on the outskirts of Beiersdorf near Grimma. It took more than 13 years to turn a vision into a dreamlike and enchanting park. It will add a new dimension to the range of leisure parks not only in the Leipzig district, but throughout Germany.

"When I saw the site in Beiersdorf, I knew immediately that this was where I wanted to build a family park. It should inspire children and adults alike to engage in imaginative play, exercise and dreaming," says Günther Ziegler.

ArkaZien transports its guests to a dreamlike world full of beauty, fantastic scenery and play areas made of robinia wood, woven into a beautiful park. A visit slows down the pace of life and is a great pleasure for all ages. From 3 September 2025, more than 20 interwoven themed areas will invite visitors of all ages to "play, climb and be".

"We have been manufacturing playground equipment made of robinia wood for half the world for over 30 years. Along the way, we built ArkaZien. After such a long construction period, we are very proud and happy to be able to open this year," says Ziegler.

Carpenters, joiners, theatre painters, artistic blacksmiths, woodturners, landscape gardeners, costume designers, tailors and many other creative craftspeople from various trades contributed to the creation of ArkaZien, and you can feel it. The park exudes a magic all of its own.

"As a playground manufacturer, we are breaking new ground with our amusement park. We want to use the first two months of operation this year to gain experience in real-world conditions," said Günther Ziegler before the opening. "Initially, we want to limit the daily number of visitors to around 1,500. We therefore recommend booking tickets online in advance. Day tickets are of course also available at the park ticket office within the limit."

300 parking spaces and plenty of lockers are available on site free of charge. There are also places to eat in the park. "Everything we serve is handmade and based on tried-and-tested classics. We have a pasta kitchen, a pizzeria, ice cream, crêpes and cakes. We attach great importance to high-quality ingredients. We are also particularly proud of our own lemonade creation, the Robinade," says Susanne Ziegler.

The daughter of company founder Günther Ziegler, as well as two of his grandchildren, Jonathan and Elisabeth Jung, are part of the company, making ArkaZien a true family business.

Natural building materials, wooden handicrafts, extraordinary play and climbing facilities, idyllic relaxation areas surrounded by nature, a wealth of artistic details and a genuine commitment to sustainability make ArkaZien a place to be. Here, imagination and inspiration are given free rein and everyone can embark on their own individual journey of adventure and discovery.
