Naturefriends House Grethen, Parthenstein (DE)

The Naturefriends near Leipzig offer "pure enjoyment of nature", relaxation and conferences surrounded by woods and meadows around their Naturefriends House. A large play and exercise area in the middle of this idyllic setting completes the adventure.

As there is so much to discover around the Naturfreundehaus, especially for children, the many young visitors were also given the opportunity to play and run around in the outdoor area. A huge adventure playground with a central tree house was created. The company Ziegler Spielplätze designed an extraordinary play area that blends in wonderfully with the forest atmosphere thanks to its natural robinia wood elements.

The sapwood-free heartwood of the local robinia tree retained its natural shape during processing and was therefore ideal for this project. In combination with an original concept, a tree house construction was created that now offers adventurous elements such as wavy wobbly bridges, spiral staircases, a climbing net tunnel system and a long stainless steel tube slide for all little nature lovers.
