The Pirate Island of Usedom
Pirate Island Usedom is a unique maritime leisure facility on the popular holiday island of Usedom.
The eleven-metre-long play ship "Weltenbummler" is ideal for climbing and offers numerous opportunities for exciting role-playing games. The rotating steering wheel on deck and water cannons below deck create a "real ship atmosphere". An eight-metre-high lighthouse can be accessed via a spiral staircase. The best way to get back down is via the stainless steel tube slide. In the "Pirate Laundry" and on "Seemännleins Matschinsel" (Sailor's Mud Island), little pirates can splash and play in the mud to their heart's content. Water games, mud tables, water pumps, bucket lifts and water wheels provide refreshing fun on hot island days.
In the "Rabaukendorf" (rough-and-ready village), children can climb, demonstrate their agility and balance on suspension and rope bridge constructions, and tackle an adventurous obstacle course.
Even the very youngest children, those under three years of age, are not left out. Ziegler Spielplätze has designed the "Kenterkasten" (capsize box) especially for them. A sandpit on two levels in a shipwreck lying on its side provides them with a shady spot for age-appropriate play.
